Handmade Beaded Earrings

Handmade beaded earrings are beautiful as well as elegant. The art of handmade jewelry is slowly dying and the art will be lost for good. The reason that the art is dying is that no one has or takes the time anymore to just sit down and create something with their hands.

Beaded earrings can be, made in any color or any combination of colors that match or look good together. You can get patterns for long and short earrings or even the small simple studs to the elaborate dangling earrings.

Some of the things you would need to begin making these beautiful earrings by hand are as follows: first, you want a large clean area to work in a table or a desk. You can purchase a light/w a magnifying glass in it from the local department store. The light clamps onto the table and is adjustable. You will also be able to find things like the different kinds of beads, different sizes of beads, as well as the many different pretty colors. Choose the ones that go good together and match.

You will want to purchase a good supply of the varieties of colors and sizes. Then the earring hooks the part that goes threw the ears, beading thread, the beading needles, jewelry tweezers or pliers and a small pair of scissors. You will also need an organizer for the beads and a large tray to work on that has shallow lips on the sides to keep the beads from rolling off in the floor.

Now all you need are some patters or directions patterns for the hand made beaded earrings. These can also be, found at the department store or at a craft and hobby shop. Try to find the ones with the pictures if this is your first time at making hand made earrings. Now you are all set to go home organizes your beads and then set up your magnifier light. This will help to see the tiny holes on the beads. You are ready to make your first pair of bead earrings.

Making beaded earrings can be tedious work and it takes a steady hand. You will thread your string a long piece of string onto the beading needle. Then you will tie the beads onto the thread with a series of loops; back and fourth threw the main base bead row. Once the base row is, tied together then you just keep following the directions and before you know, you will be ready to tie the earring onto one of the ear hooks. You can make any type or style and any color you choose and never have to buy earrings again. These also make wonderful gifts for birthdays, and Christmas.
